Looks interesting. But if you're going to be joining the 5th SS, I'd concentrate on getting a real K98 before getting out the cash to buy an airsoft one.

that is a vary good point. I think that my rifle will be the last thing I am going to get because every thing is SO EXPENSIVE!

WW2 re-enacting is expensive, I'll give you that. But, if you look hard enough, you should be able to find a proper K98 for about $250. However, those lower priced guns are more often than not Russian captured, and have had their markings disfigured, and are generally in poor to fair shape.

I was told that the unit has lots of loner guns and the fact that I am under 16 so I may not always be able to use a weapon so the unit C.O. said to get that last.

The surplus store out in in Lapeer had four of them a couple of months ago still with nazi markings and no russian stamps, pretty good shape too, I cant remember what he was asking for them. I'll stop in sometime this week and ask.
