So im gonna grab a pack of 8 star mags for like 40 bucks but i was just wondering if i should get the mid caps or the low caps...the hi caps are independable and shitty, but the mid caps and the low caps work the same way so why would i get mags that hold 30 vs mags that hold 100 and are just as dependable...for the same price even.

I don't know, I use mostly mid caps myself, if you want realism you need to use stars but if you're not worried about that the only other real difference is that since the tube inside of the midcaps has more bends it can sometimes be harder to load them, and they have a slightly higher chance of jamming than the stars, also it's important that you don't try to overfill the midcaps, I have 100 rounders but i only load 80-90 rounds in them, overfilling can cause the spring to bind, jamming the mag and if you force them you can even split the mag and ruin it all together.

I like Star mags, I have not had a lot of luck with Mag brand mags which are the mid's that Pung uses but its your call. I personally like the 30rnd Star mags.
